ArtWalk Weekend: the Fall Fancy Friday

Fancy Friday events are planned with fun, fan

ciness, and fundraising  for worthy causes in mind. Participants get dressed in their finest  suits, tuxes, dresses and gowns and paint the town.  The quarterly  events, held in Downtown Nashua, include participating restaurants and  bars with generous food and drink discounts and no cover, professional  portraits, fun demonstrations, and a silent auction for participants who  have purchased wristbands.

Participating locations include Margarita's Mexican Restaurant,  Fody's Tavern, Obrien's, The Timber Grille, San Francisco Kitchen, The  Old Amsterdam, and Stella Blu. The Hunt Memorial Building will be the  location for a silent auction of numerous Fancy items, FREE professional  portraits by Matthew Lomanno Photograph for participants in their Fancy  attire, and a taste preview from the all new Riverside Barbeque  Company.

The cost of a Fancy Friday wrist band is only $10. The proceeds from Fall Fancy Friday will benefit City Arts Nashua.

Wristbands are available at Fresh of Nashua on Main Street and  M&C Clothing and Gifts at 650 Amherst Street beginning September 20.  Fresh is a fabulous ladies boutique and M&C is a consignment shop  with Fancy digs at remarkably reasonable prices. Wristbands will be  available the night of the event at Margarita's Mexican Restaurant on  Canal Street from 6-9pm. Margarita's features ample free parking.

Sponsors include Showcase Performing Arts Center of Hudson, M&C  Clothing and Gifts, Anthony Grassetti Photography, Industrial Solutions,  Artistic Tile and the Persian Rug Gallery.
