13th Annual ArtWalk Weekend - October 14th & 15th

October 14th and 15th, 2017 marked the 13th Annual ArtWalk Weekend. Nashua is a community dedicated to supporting the arts, creative expression, local business, and having fun. ArtWalk celebrates all of those things!

We at City Arts Nashua want to thank everyone who made ArtWalk Weekend 2017 the best ever!

With 58 artists registered, and more at Nashua Area Artists Association ArtHub, the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, the Hollis Arts Society, Maison de l'Art, and Picker Collaborative, over 125 local artists showed and sold work during the weekend.

Thanks to the musicians who kept visitors entertained, Eric Escobar for creating his annual art banner at ArtWalk headquarters, as well as to our partners, the downtown businesses that were artist venues and culinary arts participants. And thank you to the Nashua Public Library, MakeIt Labs, Nashua Community Music School, Gate City Charter School, the Greater Nashua Boys and Girls Club, Teresa Moler, the Painted Turtle Studio, Avalon Ink, Darkhorse Tattoo, Mayhem Ink, Graffiti Paintbar, Actorsingers, and the Nashua High School South honors art students for providing exciting and fun activities for our attendees to participate in throughout the event.

City Arts Nashua could not produce ArtWalk without our generous sponsors: RJ Finlay/30 Temple Street, which contributed financial support and the assistance of their staff; who made all run smoothly at ArtWalk headquarters. Additional sponsors included the Nashua Arts Commission, The Telegraph, Alphagraphics, the Nash Foundation, Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce, Great American Downtown, Banyan Tree Yoga, ideabenders.com, and M&C Clothing and Gifts.

We are also grateful to the ArtWalk volunteers for their help in planning and executing this wonderful event: Lisa Bissonnette, Bonnie Guercio, Juliana Oliveira, Judy Carlson, Marjorie Bollinger Hogan, Sue Hurwitz, Lawrence D’Addario, Rachel Gualco, Julie Hartman, Haley Pezzarossi, and Shaunae Nolet. Their dedication, time, and energy truly made this years’ ArtWalk a success!
