Save The Date for the Meri Goyette Arts Award Champagne Luncheon and Auction on Sunday, April 17 at 11:00 am at Sky Meadow Country Club. It is Nashua’s annual event that celebrates all the arts and artists, entertains you with fabulous local talent during a three course luncheon, and where you can score great buys on items from our silent and live auction. We have a special auction treat this year – James and Beth Aponovich have donated a garden tour and lunch for four in their Peterborough home. You will find Reservations and More Information on the awards luncheon overview page.
The raffle of James Aponovich’s painting of the Yankee Flyer Diner is set for February 20, generously hosted by Surf Restaurant on Main Street in downtown Nashua. You can still purchase a print of the painting to be eligible for the drawing. You can Buy a Print On-Line Here with a credit card, or go to PRG Rugs on Main Street in Nashua to purchase with a check. You have until February 19 to purchase a print in order to be invited to the drawing.
The Psychic Fair at the Hunt Memorial Building is scheduled for Sunday, March 6 from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm. You don’t have to be a believer – just come for the fun of it at Nashua’s iconic High Gothic landmark. The area’s favorite psychics are available for readers, we will offer aura interpretations, and have a variety of interesting merchandise for sale. Proceeds will benefit the restoration of “Margaret’s View of Nashua,” a beautiful fresco mural in the theater lobby at 14 Court Street, painted by renowned muralist Lucienne Block. Reading start at $25; cash, checks and credit cards accepted.
