I have been a watercolorist and an oil painter since 1965 where I was inspired by scenes of western Connecticut. Settling in New Hampshire in the 70’s I continued to paint and work in photography, spending 23 years working with the portrait photographer Arthur Whitty and painting freelance. I have shown my work throughout New England and have studied most recently with Stan Moeller and Bruce McColl. By teaching watercolor painting at the Rise Institute for Senior Education at Rivier University and at Beck’s Art Express of Nashua, NH, I share the joy of painting with others. My newest watercolors reveal nuanced color and texture as they portray the natural beauty of the landscape.
