Growing up in a family of artists, creating has been a way of life. I have been naturally drawn to the lines of the human figure and the flow of fabrics, creating images that use color and negative space as a way to highlight and accentuate these elements. Over the years, I have been driven to use my art as a way to bring awareness to social issues in support of organizations doing the work on the ground. Even though my passion is the human figure, I have switched focus to creating images that are designed to be beautiful while opening the door to a larger conversation.
